Congratulations to our Tidy Kiwi Volunteer of the Month for May, Tim Drinnan!

Congratulations to our Tidy Kiwi Volunteer of the Month, Tim Drinnan!

During the Covid-19 level 4 lockdown Tim was out driving when he noticed a big bag of rubbish full of insulation which had been dumped on the side of the road. Not sure whether it had been illegally dumped or if it had fallen off someone’s car, Tim thought he would do the right thing to keep his community tidy and stop to collect it. He discovered eight bags in total, which he loaded into his ute to dispose of when the lockdown finished.

Congratulations again, Tim! Thank you for doing your part to Keep New Zealand Beautiful.

The winner of Volunteer of the Month receives $100, a Keep New Zealand Beautiful t-shirt, a bag, Resene paint voucher, Klean Kanteen drink bottle and more – along with being automatically nominated for the Tidy Kiwi award at our annual Beautiful Awards!
